Civic Days 2009 will consist of the following events:

WILL INTERVIEW PARTICIPANTS AND ORGANIZERS OF THE EVENTS THROUGHOUT
CIVIC DAYS WEEK.
- Friday, June 26th, 12:00 noon:
Crowning of the Senior King and Queen, Fitchburg
Senior Center. Featuring: luncheon, live music and the
presentation of the
Outstanding Young Americans Award.
- Sunday, June 28th, 11a.m.-2 p.m.:
Doll Carriage and Bicycle Parade with Youth Events,
Riverfront Park Boulder Drive
- Sunday, June 28th, 1:00 a.m.-8:30
p.m.: Civic Days Softball Tournament, Coolidge
Park Charlton Softball Field.
- Friday, July 3rd, 5 p.m.- 11 p.m.:
Downtown Block Party.

Fireworks during Block Party at dusk (approx. 9:00 P.M.)

- Saturday, July 4th, 10 a.m.:
50th annual 4th of July Parade Kicking off at
10 a.m. from Bernardian Bowl on Summer Street. Bands, Floats
and more. Parade Route: Summer Street onto Main Street
and up to the Upper Common.
